Bridger Canyon Fire Department

The Bridger Canyon Fire Department was established in 1978 to provide fire and first responder services for the residents and businesses of Bridger Canyon and Brackett Creek.

The Bridger Canyon Rural Fire District includes over 650 homes as well as the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service’s Fish Technology Center, Crosscut Mountain Sports Center and the Bridger Bowl Ski Resort.

Bridger Canyon Fire Department has two facilities, a primary centrally located station and a sub-station located in the northern portion of our fire district. BCFD holds an ISO 6 rating from the ISO’s Public Protection Classification Program [PPC] for properties located within 5 miles of Station 1.
